HP / Agilent 6030A System Autoranging DC Power Supply, 200V, 17A

The HP/Agilent 6030A is a single-output autoranging DC power supply engineered for ATE systems and benchtop test environments requiring precise voltage and current delivery across multiple operating ranges. The unit delivers 0 to 200 V and 0 to 17 A with three discrete autoranging modes: 200 V at 5 A, 120 V at 10 A, or 60 V at 17 A—each capable of 1200 W maximum power output.

Programming accuracy reaches 0.035% +145 mV for voltage and 0.2% +25 mA for current at 25°C ±5°C. Load and line regulation both hold at 0.01% (voltage), with ripple and noise measured at 22 mV rms and 50 mV peak-to-peak across the 20 Hz to 20 MHz band. The supply supports both analog and resistance control via 0 to 5 V or 0 to 4 kΩ input signals, enabling direct modulation of output voltage and current.

Multiple units connect in series or auto-parallel configuration, with up to 16 supplies addressable through a single GPIB interface. Remote sensing accommodates up to 2 V lead drop, and either output terminal can be grounded or floated to ±550 V. The 6030A occupies 425.5 mm W × 132.6 mm H × 503.7 mm D and weighs 16.3 kg net.
