Built with gold-plated leaf springs, the attenuator sustains over 5 million switching cycles per section and settles within 20 ms. Insertion loss measures 0.4 dB + 0.09 dB/GHz at 0 dB attenuation. Maximum SWR ranges from 1.6 across 1.6 to 12.4 GHz, 1.9 to 18 GHz, and 2.2 to 26.5 GHz. The unit handles 1 W average RF input power and 100 W peak (10 microsecond pulse maximum). Solenoid drive requires 20 V to 30 V at approximately 125 mA per section at 24 Vdc. Standard connector is APC 3.5 mm female; programming interface uses 12-pin Viking (14-pin DIP optional). Operating temperature range is 0 to +55 °C with storage limits of –40 to +75 °C.
