The IFR Aeroflex SI-1404 Transponder Test Set is a depot-level test accessory for Mode S, ATCRBS, and Mode 4 IFF transponder verification in maintenance, production, and OEM certification environments. When paired with the ATC-1400A, it forms a complete SSR ground station simulator supporting MK10A, MK12, and MK12/Mode S transponders with parametric and protocol testing. Operating independently, the SI-1404 performs Mode 4 IFF testing, Mode S Level 4 interrogator simulation, and MOP (Minimum Operational Performance) tests required for RTCA/DO-181A certification.
