The ILX Lightwave LDT-5525 is a precision microprocessor-driven thermoelectric temperature controller engineered for accurate thermal management of laser diodes and optoelectronic components. It combines high analog stability with intelligent microprocessor control to deliver stable, repeatable temperature regulation across demanding applications. The unit maintains short-term stability better than ±0.004°C, making it ideal for systems requiring wavelength and power stability.

**Temperature Sensors**
Supported sensor types include NTC thermistors (2-wire), IC sensors (AD590, LM335), and RTD sensors. Usable thermistor range spans 25–450,000 Ω. The controller applies 10 µA or 100 µA sensing current to thermistors, 8 V bias to AD590 devices, and 0.6 mA bias to LM335 sensors. Calibration options include two-point calibration for IC sensors and Steinhart-Hart (2 constant) adjustment for thermistors.

**User Interface**
Microprocessor-controlled front panel with SELECT and SET controls plus rotary knob for temperature setpoint, sensor calibration, current limits, temperature limits, and loop gain adjustment. Bright green 4-digit LED display supports selectable readout modes for temperature, resistance, and current. USB interface enables remote calibration and control.

**Power & Environment**
Available in 120 V and 220 V configurations. Mains supply voltage must remain within ±10% of nominal. Operating temperature: 0°C to 40°C. Storage/transportation: −40°C to 70°C. Maximum altitude 3000 m, humidity < 80% RH (non-condensing). Class I grounded equipment; Pollution Degree II; Installation Category II.
