The JDS Uniphase SA-Z332A1 is a dual parallel Mach-Zehnder (DPMZ) modulator engineered for high-speed optical transport in metro, regional, long-haul, and ultra-long-haul telecommunications networks. This monolithically integrated device combines parallel high-speed Mach-Zehnder modulators within an MZ superstructure that also functions as a phase modulator, enabling spectrally efficient DQPSK modulation across 40 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s applications.
