The Johnson Controls P70AB-2 is a single-pole, single-throw (SPST) low-pressure control for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This open-low switch functions as a low-pressure cut-out, pump-down control, and capacity control—automatically shutting down the system when suction pressure falls below setpoint and restarting when pressure rises above the cut-in point. The all-steel case delivers rugged protection in demanding environments while accommodating a broad pressure range of 20 in. Hg to 100 psig with differential adjustment from 6 psi to 50 psi (minimum 7 psi, maximum 50 psi). A 36-inch capillary tube with 1/4-inch flare nut connects to the pressure source, and sight-set calibrated adjustment provides field configuration. Maximum overpressure rating is 325 psig.
