The Keithley KPCI-PIO32IOA is a 32-bit PCI bus digital I/O board delivering 32 optically isolated channels—16 inputs and 16 outputs—for industrial control and data acquisition. Each channel handles DC or AC signals up to 60VDC or 30Vrms with 350mA maximum load current, making it suitable for switching relays, valves, solenoids, and other industry-standard loads. Solid-state MOSFET output switches provide 3.5Ω typical on-resistance and response times under 1.0ms maximum, while optically isolated inputs detect logic thresholds above ±2.5V (high) and below ±1.0V (low) with selectable low-pass filtering for AC or slow DC signals. On-board transient protection and 60V channel-to-channel and channel-to-chassis isolation deliver noise immunity in electrically harsh environments. The board interfaces via a 36-pin connector to optional screw terminal panels and accessory cables, drawing maximum 500mA from the +5V bus with an additional 1A available from dedicated pin 1. Windows 32-bit DriverLINX software provides software integration. Operating range spans 0°C to 50°C; storage extends to -20°C to 70°C. EMC compliance meets EN61326-1; safety conforms to EN61010-1.
