The Kepco BOP20-20M is a four-quadrant bipolar operational power supply engineered for dynamic test and simulation applications requiring precise voltage and current control. This 400 W unit sources and sinks 100% of its rated current across ±20 V and ±20 A, enabling seamless AC waveform replication and agile voltage outputs without polarity switching. Independent voltage and current control circuits with automatic crossover ensure operation across the full output range. The unit is optimized for resistive loads; capacitive and inductive load variants are available. Its low output impedance—20 µΩ series resistance and 10 µH series inductance in voltage mode, 20 kΩ shunt resistance and 0.5 µF shunt capacitance in current mode—supports high-fidelity signal reproduction. Standard BOP20-20M performance includes 75 µS voltage mode rise/fall time and 72 µS current mode rise/fall time with 4.9 kHz current mode bandwidth. Not designed as a general-purpose supply due to minimal output energy-storage capacitance.
