The Keysight 1147A is an active current probe delivering accurate AC and DC current measurements from DC to 50 MHz. It handles peak currents to 15A, continuous RMS currents to 10A, and non-continuous peaks to 30A, with noise performance below 2.5 mA RMS. The split-core construction enables non-invasive circuit connection without breaks or splicing. An integrated demagnetizing switch removes residual magnetism, while overload protection and zero adjustment capability enhance measurement precision and repeatability.

The probe connects via Keysight AutoProbe interface and draws power directly from compatible oscilloscopes—no external supply required. Signal-to-noise ratio optimization enables detection of low-level transient currents with minimal insertion loss.
