The Keysight (Agilent) 11792A Sensor Module is a broadband RF power sensor engineered for accurate measurement across microwave frequencies. Operating from 50 MHz to 26.5 GHz, it delivers calibrated power readings from −20 dBm to +30 dBm (10 µW to 1 W) with ±0.02 dB linearity. The module integrates directly with the Keysight 8902A Measuring Receiver and 8901B Modulation Analyzer, providing internal switching control and eliminating the need for manual sensor swapping. When paired with the 8902A and 11793A Microwave Converter, it extends measurement capability to 26.5 GHz with 10 Hz resolution and 125 dB combined dynamic range across tuned RF level and RF power. The sensor accurately characterizes AM, FM, and phase modulation including residuals and incidentals. Calibration is individually performed and NIST traceable, with factors printed on the module for manual entry or automatic compensation via the 8902A’s non-volatile memory. RF input is presented via 3.5 mm male connector (standard) or Type-N female connector (Option 001). Input impedance is 50 ohms across the band.
