The Keysight 55280A Linear Measurement Kit is an optical metrology system for high-accuracy linear displacement and velocity measurements. Designed as an integral component of the Keysight 5530 Laser Calibration System, it delivers the optical components required for precision calibration of machine tools, CMMs, and length standards. The kit measures changes in distance between an interferometer and retroreflector with nanometer-level resolution, establishing defined measurement baselines before motion occurs.
