This processor card manages instrument interfacing, signal routing, and system coordination between test instrumentation and devices under test within modular switching and measurement systems.

## Technical Specifications

The 3235X operates within a frame-based architecture featuring a ten-slot plug-in module cage per mainframe or extender. Four backplane analog buses provide isolated signal routing between plug-in modules, both within individual frames and across connected extender frames. Two trigger buses support digital trigger signal transfer across the system. The processor card enables HP-IR compatibility, allowing control from multiple computer platforms.

The Quick Interconnect Fixture (HP 34591A) works with the processor card to streamline external cabling management.
