The Keysight E1467A is a C-size, 1-slot VXI module delivering an 8×32 two-wire relay matrix switch for automated test and data acquisition systems. Each crosspoint switches both high and low signal paths using latching armature relays, enabling cost-effective signal routing in complex testing scenarios. The module fits within a standard VXI mainframe and supports matrix expansion through interconnection with other E146xA series modules, allowing configurations up to 3072 two-wire crosspoints in a full 13-slot mainframe.
– Technical Specifications
Switching Matrix
• 8×32 two-wire switching matrix
• Latching armature relay crosspoints
• QUIC terminal block interface (easy-to-use connector blocks)
• Terminal blocks interchangeable and available separately
Crosstalk Performance (Typical, worst path)
• Within a single card (closed path to closed path):
– <10 kHz: −72 dB
– <100 kHz: −51 dB
– <1 MHz: −33 dB
• Open row to open row: −91 dB (<10 kHz), −59 dB (<100 kHz), −43 dB (<1 MHz)
• Open row to open column: −85 dB (<10 kHz), −64 dB (<100 kHz), −47 dB (<1 MHz)
• Open column to open column: −92 dB (<10 kHz), −71 dB (<100 kHz), −54 dB (<1 MHz)
Performance measured with Z(load) = Z(source) = 50 Ω and no more than one crosspoint closed per row or column.
– Key Features
• Register-based VXI module with SCPI programming support
• Onboard memory for channel list download capability
• High crosspoint density in compact form factor
• Shared switch card with E1466A (matrix configuration defined by terminal block selection)
• Expandable rows for larger matrix topologies
– Typical Applications
Complex signal routing in automated test systems, data acquisition, and multi-point switching applications requiring cost-effective high-density crosspoint solutions.
– Compatibility & Integration
Daisy-chain expansion using E1466-80002 interconnection cables (280 mm). Compatible with Keysight VXI mainframes such as the E1401B. Multiple E1467A modules can be combined to create larger matrix configurations (e.g., 8×96 through row/column interconnection via terminal blocks and expansion cables).
