The Keysight/Agilent/HP E1740A Time Interval Analyzer is a 2-slot, C-size VXI module delivering high-resolution timing measurements for precision jitter, drift, and time-interval characterization. Operating at up to 80 MHz measurement rates with 12.5 ns minimum continuous interval capability, it acquires up to 256 thousand single-channel or over 500 thousand data-to-data measurements in sequence. Message-based SCPI communication integrates within the E1725C VXI system architecture.

The module operates with companion modules HP E1742A, HP E1746A, and HP E1748A at 40 MHz measurement rates, with optional operation of HP E1743A and HP E1744A at identical rates.
