The Keysight N1921A is a P-Series wideband power sensor for precise average power measurements across 50 MHz to 18 GHz. It delivers a dynamic range of –35 dBm to +20 dBm (peak power, >500 MHz) with average power measurement accuracy of ±0.2 dB or ±4.5%. The sensor integrates a DC reference source and switching circuits, enabling internal zeroing and calibration without disconnecting from the Device Under Test. This eliminates external calibration sources, reducing connector wear and measurement uncertainty.
The N1921A captures peak, peak-to-average ratio, average power, rise time, fall time, maximum power, minimum power, and statistical data of wideband signals. Video bandwidth and single-shot bandwidth both exceed 30 MHz, with rise time ≤13 ns at frequencies ≥500 MHz and minimum pulse width of 50 ns. Overshoot is held to ≤5%.
