The Keysight U2531A is a 2 MSa/s USB modular simultaneous data acquisition device delivering 14-bit analog input and 12-bit analog output in a compact 565 g form factor. It combines four simultaneous analog input channels, two analog output channels, 24-bit programmable digital I/O, and two TTL counter channels into a single integrated module. The device connects via USB 2.0 (USBTMC-USB488) and operates standalone or integrated into a U2781A chassis for expanded measurement systems.

Analog Input: 4 simultaneous channels, 14-bit resolution, 2 MSa/s per channel, ±8.0 V range, 1 GΩ/100 pF input impedance.

Analog Output: 2 channels, 12-bit resolution, 1 MSa/s update rate, 0.1 Ω typical output impedance.

Digital I/O: 24-bit programmable TTL channels. Input range –0.5 V to +5.5 V. Output specifications: VOL 0.45 V maximum (IOL = 8 mA), VOH 2.4 V minimum (IOH = 400 μA).

Digital Counters: 2 general-purpose TTL-level counter channels.

Interface: High-speed USB 2.0, USBTMC-USB488 standard, 68-pin female VHDCI connector.

Physical: 120 × 182.4 × 44 mm, 565 g. Operating temperature 0 to +55 °C; storage –20 to 70 °C; 15–85 % RH non-condensing.
