The Keysight B2961A is a single-channel, 6.5-digit low-noise power source engineered for precision electronic measurements and high-resolution testing. It delivers exceptional voltage and current sourcing with 100 nV and 10 fA minimum resolutions respectively, operating across ±210 V DC and ±3.03 A DC with pulsed capabilities to ±200 V and ±10.5 A. The instrument supports 4-quadrant operation, arbitrary waveform generation up to 100,000 points, and programmable output resistance for constant voltage/current and V/I emulation modes. An optional ultra-low noise filter achieves 10 µVrms across 10 Hz–20 MHz with 1 nVrms/√Hz density at 10 kHz. The 4.3-inch color LCD includes a time-domain waveform viewer, voltage/current monitor with 4.5-digit resolution, and graphical user interface for streamlined operation and debugging.
