Keysight E7770A Common Interface Unit

The Keysight E7770A Common Interface Unit (CIU) is a bidirectional intermediate frequency interface that extends network analyzer frequency coverage for 5G wireless development and testing. It up- or down-converts sub-6 GHz RF signals to IF ranges of 6–12 GHz or 7.7–14.5 GHz, enabling integration with mmWave transceivers such as the M1740A for remote radio head (RRH) characterization. The E7770A provides centralized signal routing, local oscillator distribution, and multi-channel management in automated test environments.
