The Keysight N8934A is a high-performance autoranging system DC power supply engineered for demanding ATE, R&D, and manufacturing test applications. Delivering 15,000 W across a 0–500 V output voltage range and 0–90 A output current capability, this single-output unit flexibly combines voltage and current at full power—functioning as the equivalent of multiple fixed-ratio supplies in one chassis.

– Key Features
Autoranging capability enables the N8934A to operate at any voltage/current combination within its 15 kW envelope, unlike conventional supplies limited to full power at a single operating point. Built-in voltage and current measurement functions support closed-loop test control. Over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection circuitry safeguard connected loads.
Parallel connection of up to ten identical units yields over 100 kW aggregate output power, with simplified programming that treats the paralleled stack as a single supply. Series operation is not supported.
– Typical Applications
ATE systems requiring multi-voltage component testing, power conversion device characterization, battery simulator applications, and manufacturing test stations where power supply flexibility and density are critical.
– Compatibility & Integration
Member of the N8900 Series. Compatible with identical N8934A units for parallel operation via built-in parallel link. Firmware and software support available through Keysight’s website. LXI Core compliance enables standardized instrument discovery and control across networked test systems.
