Kikusui PAB32-2A

The Kikusui PAB32-2A is a compact DC power supply built on a transistorized series regulator architecture for laboratory testing and equipment development. It delivers continuously variable output from 0 to 32 V at 0 to 2 A with automatic constant-voltage/constant-current transfer, backed by a monolithic IC control circuit with temperature-compensated reference diode and precision metal film resistors. The front panel 3-1/2 digit LCD meter displays either output voltage or current at 2 samples/sec, with an external input terminal for auxiliary voltage measurement. Output switching is electronically controlled and remotely commandable, eliminating contact chatter. Positive-acting constant-current limiting continuously adjustable from 10% to 100% of rated output protects against short-circuit faults and load transients. Voltage preset is verified directly on the output meter before switching on. Two units operate in parallel (master-slave mode) using supplied interconnect plugs to double current capacity, or in series configuration for extended voltage ranges.
