The Lambda/TDK EMHP600 is a three-phase AC-DC power supply series engineered for high-power industrial and scientific applications. Using regulated SCR phase control topology, these units deliver stable DC power in constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes with automatic crossover. Housed in fully enclosed steel and aluminum cabinets with forced air cooling, the EMHP600 supports remote programming via resistance, voltage, or current inputs, with optional IEEE 488 or RS232 digital control. Comprehensive protection—including overvoltage, overtemperature, overcurrent, and RFI filtering—ensures reliable operation in demanding environments. Built-in metering and mode indicators provide real-time feedback. Note: TDK-Lambda recommends the Genesys™ or GENESYS+™ series for new designs.
## Technical Specifications
**Input:** Three-phase AC, 440–480 VAC at 60 Hz (standard 460 VAC ±10%), or 240 VAC three-phase on select models. Phase-to-phase voltage balance of ±2% required for ripple specification.
**Output Power:** 20 kW (Size 1) to 90 kW (Size 3½), with specific models rated to 60 kW.
**Output Ratings:** Voltage/current combinations span 0–600 V and 0–1000 A within power envelope. Example models: EMHP 600-100 (0–600 V, 0–100 A), EMHP 600-50 (0–600 V, 0–50 A). Configurations up to 3000 A and 600 V available subject to series power rating.
**Voltage Ripple (60 Hz):** 50 mVrms to 400 mVrms depending on model; EMHP 600-100 typically 300 mVrms.
**Current Ripple (60 Hz):** 0.02 A rms to 5 A rms depending on model; EMHP 600-100 typically 0.10 A rms.
**Regulation:** Line and load variation within ±0.1% for output voltage or current.
