The National Instruments USB-6229 is a high-performance M Series multifunction data acquisition module delivering 16-bit analog input and output, digital I/O, and counter/timer functionality over USB 2.0 Hi-Speed connectivity. The device acquires up to 250 kS/s per channel across 16 differential or 32 single-ended analog inputs with input ranges of ±0.2 V, ±1 V, ±5 V, and ±10 V. Four analog output channels provide ±10 V signals at update rates up to 833 kS/s on a single channel, scaling to 625 kS/s when all four channels are active. Up to 48 digital I/O lines support TTL/CMOS logic, with 32 lines capable of hardware-timed operation at 1 MHz. Two 32-bit counters/timers operate from an 80 MHz base clock, complemented by one frequency generator channel with 10 MHz and 100 kHz base clocks and 50 ppm accuracy.
