The Newport 2835-C is a dual-channel optical meter that measures optical power, energy, pulsed and integrated energy, and functions as an exposure or noise meter. Built for laboratory and field deployment, it combines intuitive front-panel access with a shallow menu structure for advanced setup. The instrument records up to 1,000 measurements per channel with wavelength calibration in 1 nm steps. Programmable analog filters (5 Hz, 1 kHz, 12.5 kHz, 250 kHz) and digital moving-average filters (10, 100, 1,000, 10,000 measurements) condition detector signals for precision measurements across broad wavelength and power ranges.
