The Newport 845HP Controller is a digital shutter controller that delivers precise on/off control of electronic shutters through CMOS logic circuitry. It provides adjustable exposure durations from 10 milliseconds to 990 seconds with timing accuracy of ±0.05% ±10 microseconds, making it suitable for optical systems demanding tight temporal control. The controller operates from selectable 110 VAC or 220 VAC input (115 VAC for 845HP-01 variant) and consumes less than 14 Watts. It interfaces with the Model 846HP bistable electronic shutter via a 4-pin DIN connector, delivering 5–30 VDC pulses to control shutter operation.
