The NI AT-MIO-16H-25 is a high-performance multifunction I/O board for data acquisition and control in laboratory test and measurement applications. This PC/AT bus card integrates 16 analog input channels (configurable as 8 differential), 2 analog outputs, and 24 bidirectional digital I/O lines. The board delivers up to 100 kS/s sampling with 12-bit resolution, 9 microsecond conversion time, and high-speed analog settling. Onboard timing resources include 3 counter/timers and 1 frequency output channel. The AT-MIO-16H-25 supports direct measurement of strain gauges, thermocouples, RTDs, and voltage/current sources through programmable gain (1, 2, 4, 8) and overvoltage protection (±15 V power off, ±25 V power on for analog inputs). Dual-channel DMA and FIFOs enable sustained high-speed data transfers. Real-Time-System-Integration (RTSI) bus synchronizes multi-card systems. SCXI module interfacing allows expanded channel counts and signal conditioning. The board integrates with NI-DAQ drivers and graphical programming environments including LabVIEW and LabWindows.
