The NI cRIO-9073 is a CompactRIO integrated system combining a 266 MHz real-time controller with a Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA chassis for embedded control and data acquisition in industrial environments. The platform delivers deterministic, synchronized I/O (within 25 ns) through direct FPGA control of up to 8 C Series I/O modules via a local PCI bus. With 64 MB DRAM, 128 MB nonvolatile storage, and 3 DMA channels, it handles advanced monitoring and control tasks in demanding conditions.
