The NI DAQCard-6036E is a 16-bit multifunction I/O card designed for PCMCIA-equipped laptop computers. It combines analog input/output, digital I/O, and timing functions in a compact form factor for portable data acquisition, field service, industrial control, and automated testing. The card delivers up to 200 kS/s sampling on 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog inputs, dual 16-bit analog outputs at 1 kS/s, eight 5 V TTL/CMOS digital I/O lines, and two 24-bit timers/counters operating to 20 MHz. Onboard FIFO buffering, programmable gain stages (±10 V, ±5 V, ±0.5 V, ±0.05 V), external triggering, and digital clocking enable flexible signal conditioning and synchronization. The 68-position VHDCI connector provides access to all I/O and power rails. Powered by +5 VDC at 300 mA, it integrates with LabVIEW, LabWindows, Measurement Studio, NI-DAQmx, and standard C/C++ environments under Windows NT/XP/2000.
