The NI PXI-6133 S Series is a high-performance simultaneous-sampling multifunction DAQ module for demanding test and measurement applications. It delivers 8 differential analog inputs at 14-bit resolution with per-channel sampling up to 2.5 MS/s (3 MS/s in Warp Mode), 2 analog outputs at 41 MS/s, 8 hardware-timed digital I/O lines, and dual 24-bit counter/timers. Each analog input channel features dedicated instrumentation amplification, multiplexing, A/D conversion, and FIFO buffering to enable true simultaneous acquisition across all channels. The module supports analog and digital triggering with pause, reference, and start modes, plus multi-device synchronization via RTSI or PXI trigger bus. Onboard FIFO memory of 16 MS or 32 MS MS accommodates high-speed burst capture. Input ranges span ±1.25 V to ±10 V with 100 MΩ parallel 10 pF impedance and ±36 V overvoltage protection. Digital I/O delivers 25 mA source and 35 mA sink current at 2.5 V. The module integrates into PXI chassis, supports NI-DAQmx 7.4 or later drivers, and operates across 0°C to +50°C. Applications include IF digitization, transient recording, telecommunications manufacturing test, ultrasound and sonar testing, and high-energy physics instrumentation.
