The NI PXI-8183 is an embedded PXI controller for measurement, automation, and test applications. Built around an 850 MHz Intel Celeron processor with 128 KB on-die cache, this 3U module delivers compact computing within standard PXI chassis architectures. The controller supports up to 512 MB of 64-bit SDRAM and connects to ATA-100 IDE storage up to 120 GB, providing the computational backbone for data acquisition, industrial control, and complex measurement systems.
