The terminal block accommodates matrix expansion via dual row connections, enabling cascaded configurations with additional PXI-2532 modules. The TB-2640B variant is specifically designed for NI PXI/PXIe-2532B modules and is not compatible with the NI PXI/PXIe-2532. Operation requires four 2 mm jumpers, four 34-conductor ribbon cable assemblies (28 AWG, 0.050 in. pitch), and one 16-conductor ribbon cable assembly. Optional accessories include the NI SCB-264X screw terminal connector block and specialized cable kits for row/column expansion.
