The NI USB-6509 is a 96-channel digital I/O device that connects via USB 2.0 Hi-Speed or Full Speed for direct integration with computer systems. It delivers TTL/CMOS-compatible bidirectional I/O with per-port input/output configuration, supporting up to 24 mA sink or source per channel and 215 mA total across all digital output lines in bus-powered mode. The device includes software-selectable digital filtering for input debouncing, programmable power-up states, a watchdog timer, configurable 100 kΩ pull-up and pull-down resistors, and change detection capability.
