The Power Design 3650-S is a single-channel linear DC regulated power supply engineered for laboratory, industrial, and electronic system test applications. This vintage instrument delivers continuously adjustable output from 0 to 36 VDC at 0 to 5 A, with 10 mV resolution and dual analog meters for real-time voltage and current monitoring. Coarse and fine control knobs enable precise output setting across the full operating range. The unit incorporates internal protection against overload and short circuit conditions, while rear-panel terminals support external voltage programming and remote sensing—facilitating integration into automated test benches and system-level applications. Built on point-to-point turret wiring with substantial heatsinking and a large-capacity capacitor bank, the 3650-S delivers up to 180 W with stable linear regulation.
