The Power Designs TP340A is a triple output regulated DC power supply delivering approximately 100 W total power for laboratory and industrial applications. It combines two independently adjustable 0–32 V, 0–1 A outputs (Sources A and B) with tracking capability and a dual-range 0–15 V/0–6 V output (Source C) rated to 2.5 A or 5 A respectively. All outputs operate simultaneously at full capacity with no derating.
– Technical Specifications
Input voltage: 105–125 VAC, 58–440 Hz. Sources A and B deliver 32 W per output over 0–32 V and 0–1 A with load regulation of 0.01% + 1 mV/A and line regulation of 0.01% + 0.5 mV. Source C provides 30 W at 6 V/5 A across dual voltage and current ranges, with independent floating or chassis-referenced operation. Recovery time is 50 µs (Sources A/B) and 100 µs (Source C) for a 10%–100% load step to within 15 mV of nominal. Stability over 24 hours at constant conditions is 0.02% + 1 mV for Sources A and B. Temperature coefficient is 0.02% + 300 µV/°C. Operating temperature range: 0–50 °C.
– Key Features
• Adjustable and independent current limiting set to 2%–105% of rated current per output
• Over-voltage crowbar protection (adjustable per output) with fault lamp indicator
• Tracking operation: Sources A and B can run independently or as bipolar master/slave via front panel switch
• Source C polarity selection—floating or referenced to chassis
• Three independent, isolated power sources accessible via front panel binding posts
– Typical Applications
General-purpose laboratory bench work, industrial equipment testing, circuit development, and systems requiring multiple isolated power rails with independent current limiting and overvoltage protection.
– Compatibility & Integration
All outputs connect via front panel binding posts. Sources A and B share a common terminal for bipolar configuration. Source C terminals remain isolated from chassis ground and Sources A/B.
