Profile LDC8005

The LDC8005 is a laser diode current control module for the PRO8000 series that delivers precise, stable current management in a single-slot form factor. It operates in constant current (CC) or constant power (CP) modes, supporting output currents from 0 to ±500 mA with ±0.05% accuracy and 7.5 µA resolution. The module integrates comprehensive protection against transients, RF pickup, thermal damage, and cable interruption, plus soft-start current ramping and three independent current limits. Its trans-impedance amplifier monitor input accommodates photovoltaic or photoconductive photodiode biasing, while switchable 0 V / 5 V bias voltage supports flexible detector configurations.
