The Radisys EXM-MX is a 6U VMEbus mass storage module that provides integrated disk controller, hard disk, and floppy drive capabilities for embedded PC systems. This expansion module mates to an EXM expansion subplane as the right-most device, delivering IDE-based storage with support for multiple operating systems including MS-DOS and other PC-compatible platforms.

• Single module design—only one EXM-MX per system permitted
• Electrically equivalent to standard PC ISA bus architecture
• Compatible with all PC operating systems
• External drive expansion via standard connectors
• Visual power and activity monitoring
– Compatibility & Integration
The EXM-MX operates within the Radisys EXM expansion interface standard and must be positioned as the right-most module on the EXM expansion subplane.
