Radisys EXM-MX-std

The Radisys EXM-MX is a 6U VMEbus mass storage module that provides integrated disk controller, hard disk, and floppy drive capabilities for embedded PC systems. This expansion module mates to an EXM expansion subplane as the right-most device, delivering IDE-based storage with support for multiple operating systems including MS-DOS and other PC-compatible platforms.

– Compatibility & Integration

The EXM-MX operates within the Radisys EXM expansion interface standard and must be positioned as the right-most module on the EXM expansion subplane. It cannot coexist with EXM-3 or EXM-9 disk controllers, or with EXM-MX series disk drives. The front-panel SCSI port functions exclusively in the MS-DOS environment; SCSI device support outside MS-DOS is not provided.
