The Rigol RP1001C is an AC/DC current probe engineered for precision current measurements across DC to 300 kHz bandwidth. It measures peak currents to 100 A DC and 70 A RMS AC, with dual selectable output ranges of 10 mV/A and 100 mV/A. The probe accepts conductors up to 11 mm diameter and operates safely at potentials to 600 V (CAT II 600 V / CAT III 300 V rating). Powered by either 9 V battery or supplied AC adapter, the RP1001C integrates directly with RIGOL oscilloscopes via BNC output, or connects to multimeters using the included BNC-to-banana adapter. Real-time overload indication and switchable coupling modes enable both AC and DC current characterization in power delivery, motor drive, and switching circuit diagnostics. DC accuracy reaches ±3% ±50 mA at 100 mV/A and ±4% ±50 mA at 10 mV/A over specified ranges. Operating temperature span is 0° to +50° C.
