The Rohde & Schwarz FS-SNS90 is a smart noise source for precise noise figure and gain measurements across the 60 GHz to 90 GHz band. It automatically transfers ENR tables, temperature compensation data, and measurement uncertainty calculations to compatible spectrum analyzers, eliminating manual setup and reducing measurement error. The instrument uses the Y-factor method to characterize Device Under Test noise contribution and delivers a typical ENR of 15 dB with excellent return loss.
