The Sorensen MML-4 is a modular DC electronic load mainframe engineered for programmable load simulation across research, design validation, and manufacturing test environments. The system accepts plug-in load modules—up to four single-bay units or a combination totaling four bays—each optically isolated and floating to enable independent test channels. Individual modules operate in Constant Current (CC), Constant Resistance (CR), and Constant Voltage (CV) modes, supporting voltage ratings to 80V or 500V and current ranges from 1A to 120A depending on module selection. Power ratings span 100W, 300W, and 600W configurations. The mainframe draws 115/230 VAC switchable (or 100/200 VAC) at 5A/250V fuse rating and dissipates up to 180 VA maximum across the 47–63 Hz input band.
