The Sorrento Networks GM3234 is a high-performance network module within the GigaMux 3200 series, delivering active DWDM solutions for demanding carrier and enterprise environments. Operating at up to 10 Gb/s per channel with aggregate capacity reaching 400 Gb/s, the GM3234 supports Ethernet, Fibre Channel (up to 16G GEN5), CPRI, and SONET/SDH protocols across multiple chassis configurations. The platform enables both DWDM and CWDM wavelength solutions on a single shelf, compatible with 200 GHz and 100 GHz spaced channels. Virtual Fibre wavelength routing creates direct inter-nodal connections, while line-speed AES-256 encryption with Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange and NIST DP800-90A compliance secures sensitive traffic.
