Sorrento Networks GMMD(-A-G3-02)

The Sorrento Networks GMMD(-A-G3-02) is a single-slot Data Mux Module (DMM) designed to aggregate Gigabit Ethernet and 1 Gigabit Fibre Channel traffic onto WDM wavelengths within optical transport systems. Operating as a 2.5 Gbps data mux transponder, this module multiplexes multiple client signals onto a single wavelength, effectively doubling the transport capacity of existing fiber links. The module employs SFP-based optics on both client and trunk sides, enabling flexible port configurations: two Ethernet ports, two Fibre Channel ports, or one of each protocol per module.
