The Sorrento Networks GMMD(G1) is a Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fibre Channel multiplexer module that aggregates multiple protocols onto a single WDM wavelength, effectively doubling fiber link transport capacity. Built on SFP technology for both client-side and trunk-side optics, it supports CWDM, DWDM, and Ethernet muxing across flexible port configurations in a compact single-slot form factor.
