The Tektronix DMM6500 is a 6½-digit benchtop digital multimeter engineered for precision measurement and automated test applications. Built around a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen, it delivers 15 measurement functions spanning DC/AC voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, temperature, and diode characterization. The integrated 1 MS/sec, 16-bit digitizer captures transient waveforms with 10 µV voltage sensitivity and 10 nA current sensitivity. Accuracy reaches 0.04% on DC and AC voltage measurements. Up to 7 million readings fit in internal memory, while optional scanner card support enables multi-channel switching—10 channels of 2-pole measurements or 5 channels of 4-pole measurements with a 2000-SCAN card.
