The Tektronix MDO4104C is a 6 GHz mixed domain oscilloscope that consolidates oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, arbitrary/function generator, and digital voltmeter/frequency counter into a single platform. Four analog channels with 1 GHz bandwidth and up to 5 GS/s sampling enable precise capture of analog signals. An optional RF input extends measurement capability to 6 GHz with ≥1 GHz capture bandwidth and automated measurements including channel power, adjacent channel power ratio, and occupied bandwidth. Sixteen optional digital channels at 16.5 GS/s, time-synchronized with analog and RF acquisitions, support detailed troubleshooting of embedded systems. Protocol analysis covers I2C, SPI, RS-232/422/485/UART, USB 2.0, Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MIL-STD-1553, and audio standards. Advanced triggering options span edge, sequence, pulse width, logic, setup/hold violation, and RF power level triggers. The 20 Mpts record length on all channels ensures extended waveform capture across domains, while > 340,000 wfms/s refresh rate supports real-time signal observation. Integrated arbitrary waveform generation up to 50 MHz with 128 k record length and 250 MS/s sample rate enables stimulus-response testing. Built-in 4-digit DVM and 5-digit frequency counter provide ancillary measurements.
