The WinSystems PCM-UIO96B-G-16 is a high-density PC/104 digital I/O board delivering 96 bidirectional lines with configurable input, output, or readback modes. Built on two WS16C48 Universal I/O controller ASICs, it provides 48 lines of interruptible event sense capability—generating system interrupts on software-selectable edge transitions with latched change-of-state detection. Each output line sources 12 mA sink current. The board supports write-protection masking per 8-bit port and routes interrupts to IRQ channels 2–7, 10–12, 14, and 15 via jumper configuration. Four 50-pin IDH connectors enable integration with industry-standard I/O racks. PC/104 16-bit stackthrough interface with user-jumperable base addressing on any even 32-byte boundary.
