Xantrex XKW 80-13 DC Power Supply

The Xantrex XKW 80-13 is a 1000 W programmable DC power supply delivering 0–80 V and 0–13 A output in a compact 1U (1.75-inch) 19-inch rack chassis. It operates in constant voltage or constant current modes with automatic crossover and front-panel mode indication. Designed for research, product development, production test, ATE, electroplating, and burn-in applications, the unit combines high power density with precision output control via ten-turn potentiometers or optional remote programming interfaces.

The supply maintains line regulation of 2 mV and load regulation of 5 mV on voltage output, with output noise and ripple measured at 15 mV (rms) and 100 mV (peak-to-peak). Remote sensing with line-drop compensation up to 1 V per line preserves output voltage accuracy across load leads. Meter accuracy is 0.5 V (0.5% of Vmax + 1 count) for voltage, with analog programming accuracy of 1% of Vmax (800 mV). Temperature coefficient is specified at 0.02% of Vmax/°C (16 mV/°C).
